Former Macy’s exec named chairman and CEO at Fortunoff

Charles Chinni, a former president of merchandising at Macy’s, has been named chairman and CEO of Fortunoff, a multi-channel retailer of home furnishings and jewelry, reports Fortunoff parent NRDC Equity Partners LLC. Former Saks executive Donald Watros has been appointed Fortunoff’s vice chairman. Fortunoff, No. 270 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, was acquired recently by NRDC Equity Partners for $110 million.
