DTC March Sight Estimated at $550M - Rapaport

The March DTC (Diamond Trading Company) sight proved uneventful as the De Beers sales subsidiary wrapped up its 2007 contract period. Observers estimated the sight, which ran from Tuesday through Thursday last week (March 25 to 28,) to be valued at around $550 million. "It was a very uneventful sight. There were no changes in prices or in the goods supplied,” said one industry insider.
