Israeli Diamond Cutters Indicted for $600K Fraud

Israel’s district attorney’s office served an indictment against two local diamond dealers accused of stealing diamonds to the value of $600,000, Ynet News reported. The two men, Moti Weisbrot and Amos Sulimani, were arrested earlier in June for posing as representatives of jewelry companies, Bulgari, Chopard and other big industry names. Police had started investigating the scam in January after receiving complaints from employees in the Ramat Gan bourse.
