Neiman Marcus sales drop 2.4 percent in June

Same-store sales at Neiman Marcus Inc. decreased 2.4 percent in June to $396 million, compared with $406 million for the same period last year, the company announced on Thursday. Total revenues for the five-week June period decreased 1.1 percent to $401 million from $406 million in June 2007. Revenue growth trends were strongest in the company's stores in the Southeast and in New York City.
